Freaky's friend and co-crime fighter, although they sometimes disagree over who is the leader of the dynamic duo.

Jane Frost, a.k.a. the Silver Streak, is new to the area, having moved into the district only weeks before school began. But she's a confident and outgoing girl, and she can actually run pretty fast for a kid her age. Her dream is of an Olympic Gold Medal (or two, or four), sometime in the future, and her walls are plastered with Flo Jo and other past Olympic champions. Her one concern is that they won't let her wear her silver gloves and boots when her big moment comes.

She has several pet mice, all named for runners, and she puts them through their paces in her elaborate, house-wide Hab-i-trail. Her mother still isn't used to the sight of them scurrying by in their plastic tubes.
