Barbara Towner's replacement, Jocelyn Todd, was also Rochester—born. After two years of college she took on the manager's job at Shop One and was there from 1956—1958. The job fitted her perfectly and Joc learned much from the craftsmen.

In October, 1958 she opened her own fine crafts shop in Aiken, SC, Cloud Seven. This was another successful showplace for outstanding American crafts. She reluctantly closed the shop in 1971 and worked as a gift buyer for two years at Lombard's Pharmacy. In 1974 she managed The Beach House on Hilton Head—a gift shop and tearoom. Recently she has been assisting a friend at The Arnold Gallery—fine arts, original paintings and prints—also in Aiken, SC. Joc says, “If it hadn't been for Shop One there wouldn't have been a Cloud Seven.”
